I haven’t essayed on Lockon for a while, so I thought I would do this. I considered pasting a conversation I was having with Sumeragi here, but it might be easier to organize this by bullet points. And it’s more detailed, since that was IRC and this isn’t. I have more thouhgts about him than I probably put down, but this is a lot of stuff I've been thinking about lately.

This will be an intermingling of things from camp and canon that I’m interpreting.

I normally wouldn't ask, but if you're someone I've threaded with with camp, it would be cool if you took a gander, but it's also sort of long, so sorry.

Anyway, yes.

[doing this took the right amount of secrecy, because Lockon didn't want to draw attention from the other Meisters, or even Elle. what he was doing, what he was planning to do, needed to be done as subtly as possible, if only to take a step forward. there were some steps he realized he couldn't take—not now, not ever, he firmly believed that—but this was one he needed to take a long time ago.

hopefully, beer and an awkwardly frosted birthday cake would do it. it wasn't like camp made birthday gifts for your younger twin brother easy.

he carried the cake carefully wrapped up in a box with the beer, and walked to the boys 8 cabin. upon arriving, he carefully set the box down and knocked on the door three times, and then bent down, picking up the box and hoping that Lyle would be the one to answer]

Lockon #1 is leaning against a wall with his arms crossed to let the others have a place to sit. but given that it's Celestial Being, they're probably all standing around and looking serious.

[later on in the day, Lockon claims the dining room of the house and sets down a six-pack of beer, two bottles of champagne that he obtained, and a dinner he stole from the Mess Hall. admittedly, he doesn't know what the hell he's doing, so he just relaxes against the table, and waits for Tieria to arrive with a knock on the door outside]

I'm mostly winging it, because this is something that feels right, but also I don't have a lot of canon on either way to go with, so it's strongly based in my interpretation of this character. I hope this wasn't too stupid to anyone. ;.;

[to give this better context: Lockon has been walking around just nicely bandaged since the arrival of Ali al-Saachez, despite receiving a bullet wound in his shoulder. He's bandaged and cleaned up, but still kind of stupid about it. that said, mistletoe stuff aside, he's finally been convinced to go to the hospital!

... and in he goes, rubbing at the back of his head as he tries to figure out how this place works. clearly, it must be different from a normal hospital!]

POINT NUMBER ONE. I am updating Max to season two. The problem with season two Max is that her hair is longer and so forth, and I'm incredibly lazy, especially after just making this icon set. THAT SAID, I do have the S2 icon set made. It'll just be a little longer to get it uploaded. Which means I'll probably do it tonight. Because I'm predictable. ASIDE FROM THE APPEARANCE CHANGE, Max is a little different!

POINT NUMBER TWO. YOU WILL HAVE NOTICED WE HAVE A SECOND LOCKON. dynamesentry and asecondshot are identical. Somehow because Lyle never looks almost thirty so Lockon would have never aged. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM IS THE EYEPATCH. My Lockon wears it, Tohru's Lockon does not. Unfortunately, my Lockon only has his eyepatch for a short while before SPOILERS happen, so I can't use icons to indicate the eyepatch circumstances. But he DOES wear it.

POINT NUMBER THREE. To my new DC brethren (and others who want to know how I am handling mask vs. hood vs. no hidden stuff), I made a post here about what point I'm taking Jason from and an explanation of what I have in mind for that. Since I'm still on the point of OH MY GOD JASON TODD, please do read because I want to make sure we're on the same page, at least for the people this matters to!

AND FINALLY, POINT FOUR. I am setting up information for the stupid, sexy cabin in the near future. Me and Tohru talked out the set up so I'm hopefully going to have that up tonight, along with a few other things.
